They Really Make it look Easy

An Iconic K-pop group taking the industry by storm with their hit songs 'Smart', 'Fearless', and their newest song 'Come over', they have people inspired to be like them. Now I can not teach you to sing or dance, but I can teach you how to dress like them. I will be showing you how you can recreate their iconic outfits from 'Come Over'.

The looks from 'Come Over' are heavily 60's 60s-inspired with the polka dot pattern, mini hemlines, and Mary Jane shoes. These outfits are very achievable, especially with the revival of the Mary Jane shoe.

Mary Janes are a versatile shoe that could be dressed up or down. They are an important piece to any of the outfits, and they could even be found at any price point. On the left is a pair that you can find at Walmart for only $10, in the middle is a pair from Coach, which will run you about $80, and lastly, if you really wanted to splurge on the right, Christian Louboutin has a pair for $845.

My Favorite look from this song is Yunjin's polka dot mini dress. I think it's fun and youthful. Whenever I hear this song, I just imagine this beautiful polka dot dress. Unfortunately, this dress is altered from a dress from Miaou called "Karina Dress". This dress is currently on sale for $185 if you want to try and recreate the exact look.

But fear not, I have found some more affordable options that do not require sewing. The one on the left is from cider, and it is $22. This option is affordable and will give you a similar look to the one Yunjin is wearing, it has ruching at the waist to give it that separation look her dress has. The one on the right is from Jaded London and has an identical silhouette to the one Yunjin wears. This dress is $89 and offers a high neckline, short hemline, and a similar structure at the waist.

Now, something a bit more casual is Eunchae's outfit from a stage performance. This outfit consists of flare jeans, Mary Janes, and a bright red polka dot top. This outfit is easy to recreate with items you might already have in your closet, like flare or even wide jeans. For the shoes, you can pair them with Mary Janes like she has or pick and black shoes you might have lying around. Lastly is a red polka dot top If you don't have let me show you some options.

The one on the left is from Tilly's, and the one on the right is from Urban Outfitters. Both are great tops, affordable, and versatile for other outfits. They are both under $30 and are available for purchase.

FKA Twigs

Pop Star to dystopian princess FKA Twigs is known for her avant-garde looks on and off the red carpet. Her style is heavily influenced by her music, and her ability to genre-blend is reflected in her fashion evolution. We'll go over how she established her eccentric looks and her takes on runway trends. With the drop of her first album LP1 , an avant-pop take on R&B with "glitchy" components, in 2014 she kept up with the trends. Strappy bustiers and flowy skirts took over the mid-2010s as we saw both on the runway and in the music festival scene but FKA Twigs kept her personal spin on the look. She released her second album  Magdalene  in 2019, it was a fusion of electronic art pop and trip-hop, and her style during this era was heavily inspired by baroque and romantic elements. She may have even inspired the resurgence of the Vivienne Westwood corset. The time between her 2019 album and her latest album Eusexua, was spent experimenting with more avant-garde looks. He...

Stevie Nicks

Stevie Nicks and her Iconic Style Stevie Nicks, known for her voice, her music, and her style. She joined Fleetwood Mac in 1974 and is the first woman to be inducted at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame twice. Her bohemian chic style has been an inspiration for decades, and today, we'll go over her style evolution and what makes her a fashion icon. At the start of her Fleetwood Mac career, Nicks embraced the full 70s boho look, complete with high-waisted bell bottoms, bell sleeves, and her signature platforms. Her style started developing along with her career as she established her trademark flowy dresses and dramatic accessories; silk shawls and top hats were her go-to's. She was known for mixing and layering, she combined fabrics, patterns, and textures with a preference for silks, velvets, and anything beaded.  Nicks has maintained her style over the years, focusing more on solid blacks and mixing her flowy skirts with lace corsets and dramatic accessories, and of course, ...
