Jennie

We All Wanna Be Like Jennie

From one of the most know and influential K-pop group BlackPink, Jennie is not only known for her mostly but her style that takes the world by storm. Every piece she wears becomes the next hot thing. There's no doubt that she is a hot topic in the fashion world being an ambassador of brands like Channel, Calvin Klein, and Gentle Monster.

With her new solo album 'Ruby' released March of this year she unveiled new styles and pushed the boundaries of the traditional modest style of that of Korea.

In 2020 BlackPink Came out with a new album titled 'The Album', Jennie debuted a new hairstyle a Sleek but iconic blonde money piece that highlighted her features with her natural dark black hair. In the K-pop world this is known as 'Oreo' hair, Its specific to blonde and black hair combined together. This might look like a basic hair dye job to anyone but at the time this was revolutionary and many other K-pop idols took her hair for inspiration and recreating it starting the trend of 'Oreo' hair among the industry

With a large following comes a following of hate. Many try to dismiss her influence over the industry because she is not the first one to wear something, which many know but those are not the claims fans try to make. Jennie is a trendsetter. Once she wears something everyone follows. Three years after BlackPinks Debut she does something others do which is wearing hair pins but that is not what sets her apart. Its how bright they are they bring out her features and something distinct she does is wears multiple of them on each side. In K-pop this was all you saw, everyone and any Idol sporting these shinny Barrettes.

FKA Twigs

Pop Star to dystopian princess FKA Twigs is known for her avant-garde looks on and off the red carpet. Her style is heavily influenced by her music, and her ability to genre-blend is reflected in her fashion evolution. We'll go over how she established her eccentric looks and her takes on runway trends. With the drop of her first album LP1 , an avant-pop take on R&B with "glitchy" components, in 2014 she kept up with the trends. Strappy bustiers and flowy skirts took over the mid-2010s as we saw both on the runway and in the music festival scene but FKA Twigs kept her personal spin on the look. She released her second album  Magdalene  in 2019, it was a fusion of electronic art pop and trip-hop, and her style during this era was heavily inspired by baroque and romantic elements. She may have even inspired the resurgence of the Vivienne Westwood corset. The time between her 2019 album and her latest album Eusexua, was spent experimenting with more avant-garde looks. He...

Le Sserafim

They Really Make it look Easy  An Iconic K-pop group taking the industry by storm with their hit songs 'Smart', 'Fearless', and their newest song 'Come over', they have people inspired to be like them. Now I can not teach you to sing or dance, but I can teach you how to dress like them. I will be showing you how you can recreate their iconic outfits from 'Come Over'.                The looks from 'Come Over' are heavily 60's 60s-inspired with the polka dot pattern, mini hemlines, and Mary Jane shoes. These outfits are very achievable, especially with the revival of the Mary Jane shoe.  Mary Janes are a versatile shoe that could be dressed up or down. They are an important piece to any of the outfits, and they could even be found at any price point. On the left is a pair that you can find at Walmart for only $10, in the middle is a pair from Coach, which will run you about $80, and lastly, if you really wanted to splurge on the...

Stevie Nicks

Stevie Nicks and her Iconic Style Stevie Nicks, known for her voice, her music, and her style. She joined Fleetwood Mac in 1974 and is the first woman to be inducted at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame twice. Her bohemian chic style has been an inspiration for decades, and today, we'll go over her style evolution and what makes her a fashion icon. At the start of her Fleetwood Mac career, Nicks embraced the full 70s boho look, complete with high-waisted bell bottoms, bell sleeves, and her signature platforms. Her style started developing along with her career as she established her trademark flowy dresses and dramatic accessories; silk shawls and top hats were her go-to's. She was known for mixing and layering, she combined fabrics, patterns, and textures with a preference for silks, velvets, and anything beaded.  Nicks has maintained her style over the years, focusing more on solid blacks and mixing her flowy skirts with lace corsets and dramatic accessories, and of course, ...
